*Just to Express*

Dear Higher Self,

As I’m typing, I’m visualizing you as you’re reading this and I’m imagining how you may be feeling as you put yourself back in my shoes. So many years have gone by and we are still here with each other, going strong. You haven’t left my side and I thank you for that. Despite knowing that you’re always with me, I’m having a little trouble stepping into my divine self. How do I get to where you are? Where do I start? How will I know if I’m taking the right steps or if I’m going in the right direction?

When I think about you, I envision you well put together, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually with none of the struggles I’m encountering now. You articulate yourself with such ease and grace as if you were never in my shoes. Your life’s purpose is being lived out on a daily basis and you have no qualms about who you are. The love that radiates from you to yourself and everyone else, can light up the sky. You are shining like I’ve always dreamed. You’re the Queen of your own castle and your family is well taken care of, you all are well off.

You’ve helped me believe in myself and showed me what it looks like when I take the necessary steps needed to get ahead. You’ve showed me what it looks like when the hard things are tackled, even when I’m not ready. You’re helping me visualize exactly how I want it all to be and make that into a repetitive practice which becomes a daily routine.

But somehow in the smallest of instances, even after all my experiences and knowing what I do, there’s still a portion of unwanted doubt that lingers as if it holds all the truth. It whispers things that I’d rather not hear and it plays on my unhealed weaknesses some times to my detriment. How do you move forward with such pressures and uncertainties tugging at you as you try to ascend into your divinity? Does it ever end, does it subside, does it change?

Dear Inner Self,

It’s like no matter how much time goes by and what life turns out to be, there is always more to strive for, always more to accomplish, always more to endure. As much as I’ve grown into the higher essence of who we are, our journey here has more expansion to experience, which means, you’re helping me just as much as I’m helping you. Remember who you are and know that the journey is as much of the goal as the destination is. No road worth walking will be easy, but it will give you everything you need to continue moving forward. Trust that your guides are always with you no matter how tough or debilitating things may get, and always remember to trust yourself. Trust that I would never guide you into a field that doesn’t lead you to your divinity. I am seeking you as you’re seeking me. We cannot do this alone, we’re here to help guide each other to become the best versions of ourselves. Without you there is no me and without me there is no us. Tap into the infinite realm of who we are, there is much to experience and achieve in this life and so much more to come. You are an extension of source energy and God’s creation, inhibiting your light and abilities is not a part of why we are here. Tap in and stay tapped in, your power is waiting to be utilized, no one else can do it but you.
